In the prayer quilting group, we make simple quilts with a cross to be sewn on the back with an embroidered label.

We designate the quilt for someone in our church who is in need of comfort, and we encourage the congregation to tie the quilt as they say a prayer for the person designated. The recipients are thus "covered in prayer" from the Rockland family.
