Bright Sunday Potluck

For centuries in all Christian faith traditions, the week following Easter Sunday was observed by the faithful as "days of joy and laughter" with parties and picnics to celebrate Jesus' resurrection. The Sunday after Easter is known as “Bright Sunday” or "Holy Humor Sunday". Here at Rockland, we traditionally celebrate “Bright Sunday” by inviting everyone to wear bright, colorful attire. Then, following the 10:30 Worship service, we will gather to celebrate the day with a potluck lunch.

Whip up your favorite potluck dish, pull out your brightest outfit and come join in as we celebrate with “joy and laughter” on Bright Sunday!
