Right now, uncertainty abounds.
A young couple desiring to go into missionary work had invited a missionary couple to their home. The host couple kept mentioning that life was so “uncertain” for them because the husband had multiple sclerosis. He could either be eventually immobilized in a hospital bed, or live normally until death, or die unexpectedly.
After hearing the term uncertain so many times, the missionary turned to the couple and said, "All of our lives are uncertain. You just happen to know it, and most of us don’t."

We are living in times of abundant uncertainty.
When will this end? What will happen next? What will we be able to do and when will we be able to do it? What will the city, state, country and world look like in 6 months? The reality is that no one knows except the Lord Himself.
In times of uncertainty, we naturally grasp for something that is certain. I am hoping that you are like that missionary couple that knows that nothing in this life is certain, and you are grabbing on to the solid Rock of Christ.
We have been having a great time on our weekly Bible studies on YouTube! One study in particular is called "Fear Not: Unchanging Truth in Uncertain Times" (Wednesdays 9:00-10:00 AM and uploaded right away so you can watch any time). This coming Wednesday, we will be talking about Isaiah 26:1-6 with an emphasis on verses 3 and 4.
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.
Learn these verses and cling to them. God and God alone, not practical answers to our questions, is where our peace comes from.
Stay strong, friends. No one knows exactly what tomorrow looks like, but our great God and solid rock, the eternal One, sure does.
Cling to our everlasting Rock today.
"See" you Sunday!
I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth.
