Sunday Notes from Rockland!
This is what our current sanctuary looks like! Thanks for the pictures. Keep sending them!
See below for a few quick announcements from Sunday.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: New online Bible Study starting this Wednesday on our new YouTube page! We will be studying truths that help us stand firm in the circumstances in which we find ourselves. (See below for more details on this and other online studies.)
-Monday is day of prayer and fasting
Monday, Rockland will be joining ministries like Aspen Ridge Church, Ascent Church, Bergen Park Church, Church of the Hills, Church of the Cross, FCA (Mountain Communities), Clear Creek Rock House, The Way, Jeremiah's Call Ministries, Intermountain Young Life, Life's Options Pregnancy Center, Faithful Workouts, First Baptist Church of Idaho Springs, Flatirons Church West Campus, Kittredge Community Bible Church, Seeds of Hope, Gateway on Mount Zion Church, The Shop, Lookout Mountain Community Church, Calvary Impact, The Salvation Army (Evergreen Service Extension Unit) and more, in observing a day of prayer and fasting.
In these times, we want to call on God more than ever and have our hearts that are obedient to Him. Monday, if you are able, consider fasting also. Every time you feel the hunger pain, turn that into a reminder of petitioning God for His mercy on us.
At noon, all these ministries have committed to stopping down and praying together. If you able to pray from 12-1 PM, know that you will be on your knees with an army of Christians crying out to God.
Here is a prepared prayer guide if you would like to use it.
-Live Bible Studies on YouTube
Join us midweek for various Bible Study opportunities online! Click HERE to subscribe! After each study is over, it is immediately uploaded online so you can go and watch it any time if you can't make it live.
- Tuesday Mens Study, 7-8 AM on Romans
- Wednesday Morning Study, 9-10 AM: "Fear Not: Unchanging Truth in Uncertain Times"
- More coming!
-Families: send us your wall pictures!
We have been studying the story of Nehemiah and his wall, and we know we have some gifted kids that can make some awesome, creative walls themselves with legos, pillows, or whatever! Take a picture of a wall your kids build (like Nehemiah built his wall) and send it to Ms. Lori to be eligible to be shown on screen next Sunday! Email Ms. Lori
You can give online through our website, including using text-to-give options available there. Click here for ways to give.
To God be the glory!
