He is Risen!

Thanks for the pics of you worshiping on Sundays!
Hope you are logging on at 9AM TODAY for our Easter service!

After the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men. But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.
He is not here, for He has risen, as He said.

Matthew 28:1–6

We have spent most of our days recently inside.
My birthday last week? I was inside.
My anniversary in a couple weeks? No doubt, inside.
My school-aged students for the rest of the school year? Inside.

Jesus on Easter morning? Not inside.

The tomb was empty on that Easter morning and the world has never been the same.

This Sunday will be an Easter to remember and comes at a time when the truth of the resurrection is never more needed. I know this Easter is different for so many. I pray that our good and gracious God meets you where you are and comforts, encourages, and strengthens you today.

Know that no matter what is happening in the world, we stand on the truth that Jesus Christ is alive.

He is risen.

See below for a few quick announcements.

-Upcoming Sundays: Thanking God for Frontline Servants
Christians are called to pray for those in need. In the weeks ahead we are going to be hearing directly from some that are serving on the frontlines that have had their lives upside-down for a season such as healthcare workers and teachers. They are going to help us know first-hand what they are experiencing and how we can pray for them.

Here is the link for the Sunday livestream.
