Celebrating Pastor Ed! (DETAILS)
THIS COMING WEEKEND!
We are looking forward to a GREAT weekend as we celebrate Pastor Ed Lange’s retirement, September 12 & 13.
The Worship service schedule looks different this weekend, so that we can accommodate more people as we gather to hear Ed’s final sermon as a pastor here, celebrate the gift of Ed’s faith and friendship to those at Rockland Church these past 32 years, and launch him into retirement!
In honor of Ed & Michelle, and out of respect for their wishes, it will be required that masks be worn for the entire service. Consider it a gift to them.
Childcare for children age 4 and under is available on Saturday at the 3 pm service, and on Sunday at both services. If you have children age 4 or under, we would appreciate it if you would utilize the childcare provided so we have room for more people to attend the services honoring Pastor Ed.
For those who were not able to signup for one of the worship services, an additional opportunity (outdoors in front of Rockland) to say a quick “thank you” and to wish Ed & Michelle well will take place on Sunday afternoon starting at 3PM until 5PM! Plan for a brief conversation with Ed & Michelle in a socially-distanced atmosphere outdoors. Masks are requested.
Pray for Ed this weekend as he shares in 5 services over two days!
"See" you Saturday or Sunday!
|If you would like to bless Ed and Michelle with a card and/or gift, we know they would treasure it. You can send them to the church or bring them with you! Financial gifts in the form of a check should be made out to "Ed Lange" and are not tax-deductible.|
