We strive to serve and walk through life with students in 6th through 8th grade. Our goal is to ignite a lifelong connection to Jesus in our Middle School students.
First and foremost, we want our middle school students to know this: You are loved by God! Then we can learn together what it means to love others and love ourselves. We have a lot of fun exploring what a relationship with God looks like and how we can find our true identity in Christ! Come check us out and bring your friends!

2017-2018 Confirmation Class-
This class is offered to our 8th grade students who would like to make a commitment throughout the year to learning more about the Christian faith and who they are in Jesus Christ! Confirmation is broken down into these three teaching sections:
THE Faith: Students will learn about the Christian faith including the essential truths of the Christian faith, and some foundational theological ideas important to understanding what the Christian faith is all about.
MY Faith: Students will have the opportunity to personally own and verbalize their faith in Jesus Christ through studying and understanding Scripture, writing their own faith statements, and learning what spiritual gifts God has given then that they can use to serve others.
OUR Faith: Students will have the opportunity to experience Christ-centered community by actively participating in the Middle School Ministry program at Rockland, as well as participating in the life of Rockland by attending and participating in the worship services, serving in other ministries, attending events, and being a part of the larger church body.
Wednesday Night Youth Group
Starting on September 13th our Wednesday Night Youth Group program will be held from 6:30-7:45pm at Rockland downstairs in the Student Room for grades 6-12. We will hang out and fellowship with each other by playing games like 9-square, air hockey, and ping pong, and getting to know each other. Then we dive into the Scripture in a small group setting as we discuss with an adult leader what God is trying to teach us for the evening!
*Fellowship Dinners will still be every first Wednesday of the month and they are FREE for students! Dinners start at 6:00pm in the Fellowship Hall
Check the Calendar for Middle School events throughout the year such as Nerf Night, fun themed nights and outreach opportunities. We will also participate in All Church events throughout the year. Come join us!
